Futures Daily News ( AliceZhao ）On March 19,China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) issued a notice approving the Dalian Commodity Exchange (hereinafter referred to as "DCE") to carry out liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) futures and options trading. The official trading date of LPG futures contract is March 30, 2020, and the official trading date of LPG options contract is the next trading day when the corresponding futures contract is traded.

It is understood that LPG futures and options, as the first energy variety of DCE, will effectively expand the service areas and variety sectors of DCE, and will play a positive role in helping enterprises cope with the risk of price fluctuations and improve the trade pricing mechanism, which is of great significance for the derivatives market to serve the real economy.
